Our annual picnic was held on Sunday September 11, 2022. The day was overcast with smokey skies resulting from wild fires in the interior, although conditions were not as bad at Cultus as compared to the valley floor in Chilliwack. In the end, 28 cars and one motorcycle appeared and were parked in a treed setting slightly west of our usual location.
This year the picnic was dedicated to the memory of Glenn Lathrop, Club member and the editor of the Club newspaper The Highway Hooter. A toast and salute were offered to Glenn as well as to our late monarch Queen Elizabeth II.

Thank you to Larry Payeur for attending to all the details required for renting the park and for bringing all the signs, tents, tables and other necessary paraphernalia.
The Best Picnic Award presented an extremely difficult choice for the judges, with the award going to Jean and John Webster. Stiff competition came from Josie and Harj Kamo and Connie and Dan Brien.
